Class Handouts
I created this "Keywords Worksheet" as a tool to use in sessions when students needed to work on narrowing their topics and coming up with search terms. I like to introduce the concept of idea mapping while I fill one out and then give students some time to work on their blank versions.

I created these postcards to use for assessment purposes. Each side of the card contains a single question, asking students to either report anything they didn't understand or explain the most important thing they learned. I save a few minutes at the end of the session for students to fill them out and then analyze their responses at a later time. I've found that often these cards often provoke new questions in the student's minds, and they'll raise their hands to ask for clarification in the middle of writing their response.
